August 25, 2010 - Strawberries, Blueberries and...Cucumbers! |
We still have strawberries! Find us at the markets selling an everbearing strawberry. This berry has a flavor that will beat those grown by California, plus you are helping a local grower and...not adding to your carbon footprint. We also have blueberries and if your lucky you'll see us at the market on a day where raspberries or blackberries are also available! We also have pickling cukes available for those of you who "put up" for the winter.

Mother Nature has not been cooperating. We didn't have a large number of berries to take to market and what we had sold out quickly!
|
May 27, 2010 - First Pick for Queen Anne's Farmers Market |
|
We were pleased to provide two of our ever-bearing varieties for Market Day, Albion and Seascape. These berries are the first to be harvested. They aren't as intensely flavored as the June bearing berries, but they bridge the gap between the hard, trucked-in berries and the juicy heirloom varieties that arrive later!
