What's New at Skagit Sun

Our stands closed on Sunday, October 2nd. Our last markets of the year are this weekend. Come on by to the Queen Anne Farmers Market, Coupeville Farmers Market, and the Mercer Island Farmers Market from Thursday, October 6th to Sunday, October 9th and get the last fresh berries of the season!

If we don't see you, thanks so much for an amazing season, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

July 16, 2011 - Raspberries!

We are happy to have raspberries ready! However, after several days of resisting the rain, we had to cancel our Saturday market today. It was just too muddy to pick.

July 3, 2011 - Strawberry season is up and running

We are now picking a variety of strawberries, including albion (delicious), honeyoye (yummy), tillamook (scrumptous), rainier (juicy), and the popular shuksan. All of the varieties are at their peak, thanks to the recent warm spell we've had.

Raspberries and blueberries are about two weeks off (weather permitting). Thanks for your continued support!

June 26, 2011 - Strawberry Season is Here At Last!

Skagit Sun is up and running full speed ahead. This week we will be at all our Farmer's Markets and making our daily drives to Seattle for deliveries at select stores. Keep your eyes open you may even find some of our primo Shuksan Berries!

June 17, 2011 - Things are picking up!

Looks like we'll be opening our Conway stand at 10 am tomorrow, Saturday, June 18th, as well as our Anacortes stand, at noon. On Sunday, you can also find us at the Mercer Island Farmers Market. Fresh berries make a great Father's Day present!

June 9, 2011 - Another delay!

We've been frustrated up here in the valley, due to the lack of warm temperatures and sun. We know for sure that we will be able to make the Queen Anne Farmers Market on Thursday, June 16th, AND Mercer Island Farmers Market on Sunday, June 19th. Looks like the season is starting to pick up!

Keep on checking our site for the latest updates. Thanks for your patience!

May 31, 2011 - Rain, Rain GO Away!

Mother Nature is not cooperating and unfortunately we will not be able to be at Queen Anne's first farmers market of the 2011 season. Weather permitting we will see you the following week June 9th. We promise our berries are worth the wait!

May 16, 2011 - Ready for some REAL Strawberries?

Weather permitting, we are hoping to have our strawberries ripe and ready for market on Thursday, June 2nd- Queen Anne's First Farmer's Market of 2011. Come on sun!
